Hey Friends and Family!!!

Lets just say that writing this letter is an absolute delight… because it means that we are heading back into missions work, it is so thrilling and exciting to think about I can’t even put it into words! My heart is overflowing with excitement and I hope you enjoy reading just a little bit of that excitement as I am sharing with you what is coming up for the lil Carter family.

As of June 2009 we will be officially moving to Rochester, NY to be working with PUSH Physical Theatre. For those of you who don’t know what PUSH Physical Theatre is, it is a group that Isaac has worked with off and on since his PADTS in 2005 he met them through a workshop that they did at the YWAM base on Long Island and then I (Heidi) later met them through another workshop that they did at the YWAM base during my PADTS in 2006. I wish you could see firsthand the details and intensity of their performing style. I took this quote off the Geva Theatre website. It explains PUSH very well “Gravity defying PUSH Physical Theatre has been called a cross between fine art sculpture and the hit movie The Matrix. You have NEVER seen anything like this before . . . this theatre of the body is cool, athletic, entertaining and impossible to resist.”

In the next few years Isaac’s main focus will be on these two things:

• Working at a local theater called the Geva Theatre (it’s the “big” theater of the city) they will be performing a full show/story during the fall. The fact that a Christian artists are able to perform in this Theater is HUGE. God has completely blessed this ministry.

• The other thing that is coming into play right now, which we are most excited about, is PUSH has gotten the opportunity to be going into a local school and be able to perform, do workshops (teaching them PUSH’s style of performing) and choosing the curriculum that they will be teaching for the school year, along with working on no more bullying and violence stuff, which will be opening huge doors for reaching out to some very lost kids!

PUSH’s main focus is friendship evangelism and bringing the Church and the artist back together. While using their talents to speak to the hearts of those who watch them perform where words can not reach. This ministry will be different then the normal touring that we are use to. It will be a fun change. To get the chance to influence the local community that is full of college students and even on a daily bases to interact with elementary aged school kids will be such an exciting opportunity.

That’s what Isaac will be doing… so on to what I’ll be doing… At this time I’m needed to be a stay at home Mom and wife, helping here and there where Isaac needs me. Keep in touch with our supporters (you) and all that fun stuff. Plus we found out that we are expecting baby number two! That will be keeping me super busy by its self. Hopefully I won’t be as sick this pregnancy as I was with Tommy’s since now I have Tommy to take care of and I won’t have my parents right there to help. This will be exciting for me and very different since I’m so use to being right there working with Isaac.

Now that we have gotten the official details of moving to Rochester to work with PUSH the huge number of $10,000 has come up and that takes us to December. We are now faced with the fact that we need to raise/earn that much money to be able to take care of our family. It was so much easier to raise money for my PADTS because I didn’t have a kid that required my time so I was able to go and work a bunch of odd jobs all year round. I thought about maybe selling the cat again, but not only is she still crazy but she now has a battle wound that stretches across half her body! So now we have to do it the old fashion way by writing this letter and Isaac will be hopefully getting a part time job that will cover part of the money needed. If you feel led to support us in this time of our lives we would greatly appreciate it. I’ve done the math so many different ways on how to do this! If I got 100 people to give us $100 then our goal would be met (I hope I’m sending this letter to 100 people), or we could have people support us on a monthly bases. We need about $1600 a month so really all we need is 16 people every month giving $100 or 32 people giving $50 or okay you get the point… so now comes the realistic side. Not everyone has just $100 or $50 to give away (especially during this day and age) they might only have a penny or a dime and then there are people who might have $500 or $1,000. So then we thought we better just pray about this and God will move the people to give the perfect amount of money and forget the old math side of it! We would really like everyone to respond in some shape or form:

• You can give a one time gift and write a check to Isaac & Heidi Carter and send it in the envelope that we provided with this letter.

• You can let us know if you want to support us on a monthly base and how much you will be doing that for each month!

• Also we want to be praying for you and know how you are doing whether you support us financially or not.

Okay so the money side of it is mentioned and when the $10,000 comes it will be totally awesome! But after the money there is another really HUGE thing PRAYER!!! I don’t know why but prayer is one of the most exciting activities to me specially to get a whole group of people to pray about specific things and then to see the out come oh man it gives me a rush just thinking about it. So now down to the basics of prayer would you please join our prayer team and commit to praying for us on a regular base for this season of our lives? It would mean the world to us!

We know we are only raising funds for the next six months when we want to be there for a few years or longer (Lord willing). Right now that’s how long we feel led to raise money for.
